Lara Christy is a nurse practitioner who is passionate about helping patients optimize their health and improve their quality of life. She is motivated by alleviating suffering and empowering individuals through education so they can take an active role in their wellbeing. Lara takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to care that emphasizes prevention, lifestyle-based medicine, and long-term health.
She provides adult primary care for patients ages 13 and older and has extensive clinical experience across multiple care settings. Lara has worked in primary care, urgent care, and both inpatient and outpatient cardiology. She has been a registered nurse since 2001 and a nurse practitioner since 2010, bringing over 15 years of experience as a nurse practitioner to her work with patients.
Lara also holds advanced training and certifications in critical care nursing, emergency nursing, wilderness medicine, and medical cannabis care. These diverse experiences allow her to support patients with a comprehensive and well-rounded perspective on health and wellness.

Lara earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri St. Louis.
