Dr. Hammerbeck is a board-certified virtual primary care doctor with First Stop Health. She has a particular interest in mental health and practices trauma informed care. She also has an interest in emergency medicine and was previously a medical director of a rural level IV trauma hospital. Dr. Hammerbeck also enjoys prenatal care and has experience delivering hundreds of babies.
Dr. Hammerbeck became a doctor because she wanted to help people live their best lives, whatever that means for them. Her relationships with her patients are what she values most about her job. She enjoys educating her patients and empowering them to feel confident in making healthcare decisions and to take ownership of their health. She loves to help her patients make changes that are important to them and watch them succeed.
